Paul Sponcia, CEO of The IT Company, recently attended the 26th Annual HIPAA Summit in Washington, DC and spent a day in a class and then taking an exam to earn his Certified Cyber Security Architect Certification, validating his knowledge and skill sets in cyber security with particular focus and emphasis on the development of an applicable cyber security incident response and an enterprise cyber security program.

Sponcia is also studying to become a Certified HIPAA Professional as well, which will help to demonstrate his understanding of HIPAA’s Administrative Simplification Act as well as how to create a framework for initiating and working towards a blueprint for HIPAA compliance.
