I wanted to write our blog this week to express my gratitude to a lot of different people for making our first Poker with Purpose event a success. We would not have been able to put on this event without our generous sponsors providing funds, prizes, and delicious food & drink!

We had a great turnout with somewhere around 40 people taking part in the tournament, or just coming to hang out. Thanks to everyone that came out and played and donated money, we are able to donate $1,300 to Second Harvest Food Bank. That money will be able to provide nearly 4,000 meals. How cool is that?
Being that it was our first event, we knew we would learn some things along the way. We would love your feedback on what you thought about our event. If you signed up online event, you should have gotten a survey from us to let us know what you thought. Feel free to access it here as well!
Our plan is to build off what we started with, make some tweaks, and make this a semi-annual event. Keep an eye out for an announcement on our next date!
