Many folks may know that large parts of the internet were seemingly down on Tuesday. The reason was a massive outage from Amazon Web Services, which now runs web services for some of the largest companies in the world. The outage, it turns out, was caused by human error - good old humans!
This is a reminder that even the largest, most advanced web services and cloud computing companies remain susceptible to human error.
