Paul Sponcia
Principal and CEO
Paul is the company’s strategic leader, operational head and chief accountability officer. He has more than 18 years of business, leadership, startup, executive management and IT experience Paul invented and developed a groundbreaking construction project management solution that used collaboration and Internet communications never seen before in the market. He enabled hisformer company to grow recurring revenue in only two years from over roughly $50,000 per month to over $300,000. Paul now uses offers his technical and business acumen for The IT Company’s clients. Paul is a frequent speaker on the subjects of information technology and business leadership.
Chris Kennedy
President/CTO/Founder
As President, Chief Technology Officer and founder of The IT Company, Chris Kennedy brings to the company both the technical knowledge and business expertise that benefits our clients. He attended the University of Tennessee, and before founding CSK Technologies in 2003, worked in the IT and small business sectors as a managing partner, director of personnel, and sales and service team member. At The IT Company he provides businesses with IT solutions that lead to greater profitability and success. In his time away from work, Chris enjoys playing golf, mountain biking, and spending time with his wife, Sara, and two children.
Maynard Alvarez
Principal / VP of Sales & Marketing
After Maynard Alvarez’s company, Integrated Solutions, was acquired by The IT Company. Maynard became The IT Company’s vice president of sales and marketing, doubling sales and revenue in the first year. Maynardbegan his sales career in 1994, and entered the health care sales market in 1996. He is a graduate of the Sandler Sales Institute and holds many sales and marketing achievement certificates and awards. Maynard has been an affiliate member of KMGMA & TMGMA (WHAT DO THESE STAND FOR?) since 1997, and he currently serves on the Board of Tennessee Technology Center as an EMR specialist for its medical assistant program. He was an executive board member of the Renaissance Committee of Club LeConte from 1997-2003 and served on the board of Cystic Fibrosis from 2006-2009. Maynard and his wife, Tasha, live in Knoxville with their two children, where they spend many hours volunteering in community service. Maynard also enjoys playing tennis, golf and the cello.
